Good Product. Would be nice to have care and maintenance instructions.
resting on the wall
I placed the mats against a black painted wall on my basement, whihch doubles as guest bedroom and gym. It looks beautiful, like a very unique wall colour and texture. Plans are they will work for both: a guest dleep and an occasional floor workout. But they look so good simply as a soothing wall, a rest to the eyes.
beautiful mat!
Needed a firm bed but not on the carpet with allergens. So put the tatami on top of our tempurpedic mattress. Added an egg-crate foam on top of that and slept great ever since! The whole bed is only 2 inches of mat plus 2 inches of foam+cover so not outrageously tall on top of our mattress. Tatami has nice round edges not sharp like a board and has a nice clean straw smell.
Easiest shopping ever
I wanted a tatami, went to google, Oriental Furniture popped up, the item was on sale, I ordered, paid, and within 8 days, the mat was at my door. It was in excellent shape. I have it on my yoga platform.
Very satisfied
I was very happy to receive my full size tatami mat. As a modern day Buddhist my altar sits "ATOP" just like back in the days!!!
