PERFECT ANSWER FOR PRIVACY
This four panel screen was sent without a scratch. It's in tip top condition and a beautiful addition to my apartment. I'm in a one bedroom and need to have privacy space with a dear friend who because of an emergancy is staying here for awhile. Thank you Oriental Furniture for making a tight space liveable.
Well made and delightful to look at
At a price this affordable, I was expecting something more cheaply made. I was relieved when I unboxed my shoji screen to find it reasonably built and not nearly as flimsy as expected. My wife and I work from home and share an office. When we have remote meetings at the same time, the shoji screen allows us to move around without making a cameo in the other's meeting. The screen is much better looking than Zoom backgrounds, and adds a pleasant element to the room.
Just What I Needed
Arrived on time. Packaged very well - no damage. Nice and lite but stable. Using to screen a small hallway while guest are in.

Well worth the money
The screens arrived promptly, well boxed and in good shape. They are just as the appear online and serve our purpose well. I move them each morning and evening from a large window and put felt pads on the bottom so they slide smoother and a little more easily. They are light weight, but sufficiently sturdy.
6 ft Shoji screen.

Great for privacy
Our conference room has a glass wall and these will allow us to have privacy when needed. They are light enough that we can easily move them from storage to the conference without a hassle.
Nice
Received quickly. No damage to product but some spots had no paint. Easy to repair with black magic marker. Wish it had felt pads to rest on hard floors. A little warping on verticals of frames. All in all it's functional and looks good.
Perfect
The shoji screen was package very well and looked exactly like it did on my computer. The size is perfect for my needs and i will probably buy another one in the near future.

Amazing
I was happily amazed when the Shoji screen I ordered was delivered on time and in good condition. I only reason for 4 (not 5) stars is the wood. The wood color is great but our 10-year-old screen has slightly thicker wood.
Just what I wanted!
We are re-doing our master bedroom and bath in a Japanese motif and these shoji panels are perfect. They look fragile but are, in fact, quite substantial, and I am ordering more to put in other parts of our house. I have looked at lots of these screens, and these are the best. Highly recommended!
Great purchase!
I purchased an 8 panel 6 FT. black and white Shoji screen to separate the family room from the kitchen. It arrived very fast in perfect condition. The screen has a very modern feel, a very clean look - exactly what I wanted. The price is more than reasonable. Lovely screen
I ordered this screen to provide privacy for astrology readings in my shop. It is lovely. I ordered the rosewood color. shipping was fast and customer service was great. the mistake I made was in ordering just a tall screen. I have moved it and am using it for a room divider.

There was a problem with the screen coming in with a little crack in one of the small wood cross bars due to improper handling by the shipping company. Mike at Oriental Furniture was very responsive to my requests, and handled the situation to my complete satisfaction.

Looks Great
My only disappointment with this piece is how lightweight it is compared to the screen it replaced. My first Shoji screen was purchased in an Asian store in Honolulu, HI approximately 25 years ago and was extremely heavy. I would have kept it if I could have found rice paper to reline it since a number of tears had occurred over the years. Thinking they were all the same, I ordered this one not knowing the difference in quality. It's a nice screen but is not quite what I expected.

pretty and private
This works great! Like other reviewers, I am pleased that my pets haven't tried to knock it over or tear at the rice paper. It's attractive and provides plenty of privacy--even at night you cannot see through the rice paper.

Beautiful product. Most sellers don't offer the darker walnut color that Oriental Furniture provides. Wish I had opted for a larger size!

Shoji Screen
These screens are great! So far I've bought 4 of them to use as space dividers in my studio and to hide clutter and junk during open houses. Flexible to arrange, lightweight, easy to reposition and classy looking. Although they are packed very well, there was some minor splitting of wood or loose paper in a few spots right out of the box, on 2 out of 4 of the screens. That's all thats keeping me from giving them a full five stars.

Am using the screens in a finished storage room that is a walk-through space into a guest bedroom, to hide the storage items. BEAUTIFUL screens and absolutely perfect solution to an otherwise eyesore room. Thank you so much!
Gorgeous
I needed a long, tall screen to cover up an area in my loft that I was using for storage. I read all the reviews and picked this screen. Even though I opted for the "slow" method of delivery, I received it in 5 days. It is everything the reviews say - lightweight and beautiful. I took the 8 panel and it is a perfect size for 13 feet of room that I wanted blocked off. I'm very happy with my choice.

Beautiful screen
The screen I received is exactly like the one featured online. It looks great in the corner of the bedroom, where it lets in daylight while hiding a treadmill in between exercise sessions. The package arrived with deep gouges through all layers of the cardboard, but fortunately the screen itself was not damaged.

Oriental Furniture's delivery was quick and the packaging was excellent. This means a lot in getting the product to me in perfect condition. The screens are beautiful and provide good camouflage for my washer and dryer. Their quality and function are very good.

My screen is placed in a window where drapes leave off and block the hot sun from heating up room; folds up and fits in corner when not in use and looks just as lovely.
This worked great for us
As odd as it may seem, we have been searching high and low for a room divider that was attractive but most importantly would divide our room as part of a difficult pet integration. We have been so pleased with our shoji screens as they not only look lovely but completely fit the bill.
WONDERFUL PRODUCT
I have now ordered two of these Shoji screens - one 5 ft. in walnut and one 6 ft. in rosewood. Both finishes are beautiful and the screens themselves are well made and very attractive. we received our rosewood 4 panel shoji screen very promptly after submitting the order. Of course it helps that this company uses Fed Ex which is always very prompt! When I opened the box I was just in awe...the quality of the screen amazed me; it was better than I expected it to be. Absolutely a gorgeous piece of furniture!
Shoji Screen
I was amazed by the craftsmans craft. This is making a nice privacy in front of door. Good part is that fresh air passes through the screen well, and stands well on its own. Great bargain for 6ft! Even my cat likes it well.
