Perfect!
This lamp was exactly as expected ... prompt delivery ... easy to assemble (except the dowel pegs were a hair fat ... no problem, just trimmed them down). The lamp is a beautiful addition to our "Japanese Room." We have made several purchases from Oriental Furniture and have never been disappointed thus far.
Very nice 45" Shoji Lamp
Ordered the lamp to overseas, to Finland and the delivery was passed through promptly despite the busy holiday season. Arrived in perfect condition, after little wrenching and and two screws to tighten, own light bulb to be fitted in, the Shoji lamp was ready to living room use. Happy to order this and two other lamps same time, on the basis of this I can recommend the Oriental furniture on-line shop to everyone.
Loving it
Honestly loving this lamp. It only took me 5 minutes to assemble and it looks great in my room. Only thing to watch out for is the cord length, but it wasn't a problem for me at all. I would definitely recommend this and will probably buy more furniture from oriental furniture in the future.
Elegant light
Packing was excellent and assembly very easy, although the little "wrench" provided was useless, and I had to use one of my own. The lamp, though, is gorgeous and gives off a soft, elegant illumination.
Lovely Lamp
I ordered this lamp with the Shoji screen. The screen arrived in perfect condition. However, the lamp arrived with one small piece of wood missing from the top of the lamp (the criss-cross feature). Luckily, the piece of wood was in the packaging so I was able to adhere it to the top of the lamp and it's hardly noticeable. Otherwise I love this lamp and again the rosewood is beautiful!
Shoji Lamp
We really love our 45" Window Pane Shoji Lamp. It looks so nice with our Japanese bed and tansu, and the glow from the light adds just the right touch to the quiet atmosphere in the room.

Shoji Lamp review
I bought this lamp because I had a corner by my kotatsu table that I needed a little indirect lighting and it does the job perfectly. IT is a great lamp for giving just enough light to sit around my Japanese kotatsu table and eat, talk or have tea. Most of this stuff is made in the Philippines to cut down on labor costs (It's the only way u can get this stuff for these prices) and the quality is good, stuff is packaged very well and assembles easy. Buy a few and treat yourself to a nice addition to your living quarters.
