It's a new world!
Wish I could upload a picture. These lamps have transformed my living room. Threads on the lights are awful though, requires some extra tools. Definitely worth it though.
Perfect corner addition to our livingroom
Perfect size, striking look in black, nice to have the shelf on the top. Other reviewers are accurate - the bulb does show through the paper. We use a 40w LED equivalent, making the light softer and more subtle.
I really like it
I bought it in black. Looks great in my living room...I had a another lamp but my cats broke it...would be hard to do that to this one! You can see the bulb, but not much and I don't notice it.

I purchased two of these lamps. They are so lovely and were easy to assemble. I added color changing lights - WOW! My living room looks and feels AMAZING!!!

Excellent, and very attractive
Assembly was incredibly easy, and within minutes it was working. I bought a very large bulb and a dimmer switch and it emits a beautiful soft light in my bedroom. I then bought a wireless remote control, so all lin all it is perfect. Although the panels are paper, they seem substantial, so I have no concerns about tearing.
Just Perfect
I bought two of these end tables and used night light bulbs in them just to give a subtle ambiance to the bedroom.
I used the honey which turned out to be the perfect choice for a headboard that is an antique Chinese room divider that is 10 1/2 feet by 7 feet. The honey color really enhances the headboard. Others have said you can see the bulb when it is lit and that is true even with the nightlight bulbs. It really isn't distracting and after a couple of times using them you don't notice.

The frame and light fixture inside are really nice, but I was disappointed with the white fabric screen. The screen is much too thin as you can see the light bulb and the light is not nearly as diffused as it is in the 19 inch model I bought before. That model's was superb. I'm having to buy some shoji material from another company to install myself behind the sheer fabric of this model.
Perfect Addition
This end table was a perfect addition to my living room. The natural color and style were exactly what I was looking for. It was packaged well and shipped quickly.
I love these 'lights'
These end tables/lights were a snap to put together and look great. The light they give off at night is soft and gives the room a cozy feel. The only reason they didn't get 5 starts is the finish on top on one of the two tables I bought is a little rough, but not enough so to make me want to send it back!
Great Choice
This table/lamp, as I suspected, is the PERFECT size and "look" for the spot I had in mind. The Rosewood stain is redder than I expected, but surprisingly and happily, matches the leather chairs nearby! And the turquoise lamp, a twin to one at the other end of the room, is perfect on this table. In spite of their Oriental style, both go really well with my living room, which is Africana and Southwestern US! The 40-watt bulb I put inside the table (it will take 60) gives a lovely, complementary glow to the turquoise lamp on top, and also offers "floor lighting" towards my front doorway.

I loved this piece because it not only functions as an end table but as a lamp as well. It gives a cozy glow to my living room without being overbearing. I'm glad I purchased this item.

BOUGHT 2 AS BEDROOM NIGHT STANDS. SLIGHT IMPERFECTIONS ON BOTH TOPS BUT WORTH THE MONEY. FOUND THE SUGGESTED 60 WATT BULB TOO BRIGHT BUT 25 WATT IS JUST RIGHT. EAST TO ASSEMBLE AND EXCEPT FOR THE TOPS IT WAS A GOOD CHOICE.
Perfect lighting!
The pictures do not give it justice. Assembly was a breeze! Just tighten down two screws and toss on the top and you are done! The table top is just enough room for my odds and ends that I keep by my bed. I have one on each side of my bed and the light that is emitted from them are perfect. Its a nice "lower to the ground" glow that isn't too bright! Uses a 60W bulb/ each lamp. I would recommend this table/lamp to anyone.
