    Beautiful Lamp
    I purchased 2 of these lamps for my Japanese/Chinese bedside tables. They were easy to assemble and look lovely. I had to replace my other bamboo lamps which were very tall but the Shoji lamp is just the right height for the tables. A good price too.

    Excellent lamps
    I have searched the internet looking for this type of lamp. I read the reviews for this lamp thinking it would be adequate. This lamp is very well constructed and is very sturdy. Very easy to build this lamp. This lamp is much more than adequate. I bought two and am very very happy.

    Unique lamp
    This lamp is so unique looking, very tasteful, is a perfect complement to my Chinese and Korean style furniture. Easy to assemble, take a higher watt bulb if you need more light. One thing I don't like is the way the sides are put together! Some sort of flexible bonding material which was not applied smoothly. If you are close to the lamp, you can see the stuff showing at the corner seams. This cheapens the appearance somewhat (it doesn't show in the image of the lamp on the website). I have the lamp in black, with black cranes on white. I think the black lamp looks serene and tasteful (except for the goop showing at the corners).
