Description
Difficult to find in the USA, our extra tall 7 foot Double Cross Bamboo Tree Shoji Screen has a kick plate to protect the shade from scuffs. Great for rooms with high ceilings, for a more substantial feeling, or where greater privacy is preferred. - Crafted from durable, lightweight Scandinavian Spruce, using Asian style mortise & tenon joinery.
- Shade is strong, fiber reinforced, pressed pulp rice paper- allows diffused light, yet provides complete privacy.
- Lacquered brass, two- way hinges mean you can bend the panels in either direction.
- Select from natural, honey, rosewood or black finishes.
- Available in three, four, five or six panels.
Each panel measures approx. 83 ½" tall x 17 ½" wide x ¾" thick. 3 panel screen measures approx. 53" wide flat, approx. 45" wide slightly folded to stand upright (as shown). Beautiful Screens
The screens arrived promptly and in perfect condition. They are beautiful, well-made, and are exactly as they appear online! I originally had purchased some shutter screens from Pier One Imports that were a couple of hundred dollars more than these screens, and I was so appalled at the poor craftsmanship, that I returned them almost immediately.
So glad I found you guys!

Nice but flawed
I think the divider is nice, but your quality control needs a little tweeking.
The divider had a loose panel because the wood strip holding it in popped out. It also had a scratch alongside one of the hinges.
We are awating the replacement. Hurry!

Office Divider
Dividing office space never looked lovelier. The wood matches the other pieces/door jams in the office and the divider seems to "always have been there". Lots of compliments on the translucent top that gives the office and airy feeling, even though a section is blocked off for storage. Great look, and reasonable price.

rosewood version looks very nice
Overall, I'm pretty happy with the way it looks in my living room corner (ceiling is 9ft high). I have a short 2ft tall lamp (with the shade removed so it's just the candescent 40 watt bult exposed) behind it, and it transforms the Shoji Screen into a tall lamp with warm soft light.
My only complaint is that the reddish Rosewood paint is applied very thinly and mine came with a couple light scratches on the ends where the paint is gone exposing the very light colored wood underneath. I wish it came with a touch up pen.
