Each of our stunning 4 panel Chinese Poem screens is both an outstanding, decorative art screen, great in traditional, formal decor, as well as today's more eclectic and casual interiors, but also, at 6 and a half feet tall, a solid, substantial, hand crafted fine furniture quality room divider, great for defining and dividing any space, livingroom, dining room, bedroom. Carefully and sturdily crafted from kiln dried Birch frames, covered by wood laminate, and finely finished in authentic Ming style lacquered and layered clay coromandel. The design on the front is beautiful, hand painted carved Ming era Chinese characters, a poem to the four seasons, with each character accented with gold leaf foil applique. Note that no two screens are exactly alike, and the backside is finished in painted black lacquer.
