Please note: You must purchase two of these tatami mats to cover the base of a standard Queen size bed measuring 60" wide by 80" long. See dimensions below. History of Tatami: Tatami mats come to you straight from the Far East, where they have been making Tatami for hundreds of years. Tatami mats started as floor coverings and were also used to make chairs or benches by placing several Tatami on top of each other. When they were first made, Tatami mats were seen as luxury items for the wealthy when most people had dirt floors. Another function of Tatami was to indicate rank. The most exalted members of a ceremony or gathering were given the privilege of sitting on the Tatami, while others sat on the wooden floor. Tatami mats are much more widely used today, but are still employed for Japanese religious rites and tea ceremonies.

Returns without an RMA number or items not in the original packaging will not be processed, or will be assessed an additional fee at our discretion.

There is a 15% restocking fee for returns.

Tatami for Queen Olee Steel Queen size 18" Steel Frame
I wish I could send a picture of the perfection. I can't see an option for pictures. I ordered the Steel Frame, with a lip on all four sides and the Tatamis from two different manufactures and I hoped for the best. Basically the two tatamis fit truly perfectly. So happy! Neither was exactly 60", but these two are a match made in heaven!

Great Service
Very helpful staff, Shipment was received right away. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is that one of the corners was dented.

COMFORTABLE FIRM BED
I was worried about regretting ordering this bed set but am relieved that it is PERFECT. The frame is solid with nice thick corners that the sides sit into like puzzle pieces, the fittings are sturdy, and it does not make any creaking noise at all and it resolves the problem of my previous sleeping surface which was a somewhat rickety unfinished pine futon frame. I hoped this bed would solve my back problems as far as a sleeping surface, without cutting off my circulation, and thank goodness it is simply perfect for me as an individual with bad circulation and lower back problems. I use two hypoallergenic imitation featherbeds on top with a foam mattress topper on top of that, and works for me. I might put a futon on top at some point but for now this is working wonderfully for me and I am grateful to the people who collaborated on this creation because sleep is a very important part of a person's life. There is a sweet grass and earth smell in the air from the mats (I received this bed three days ago) but it smells fresh to me although it will air out and neutralize in a few days I think.
