Return Policy:

Please contact us within 14 days of receipt of your item to arrange a Return Authorization Number (RMA).

Returns without an RMA number or items not in the original packaging will not be processed, or will be assessed an additional fee at our discretion.

There is a 15% restocking fee for returns.

Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is a result of a manufacturing defect or our shipping error.

We reserve the right to refuse returns or exchanges of items that are not in new condition due to damage or misuse by the customer.

Items must be returned within 30 days of the issuance of the RMA number, and must be received in the original packaging.

pairs perfectly with a zabuton!
My goal was to get a zabuton for casual dining (I got a black one, hattan size). The problem was back support! I'm tall and thin, so, like everything that's tall and thin, I'm liable to collapse without the enough support. Sitting for any length of time is really uncomfortable for me. This zaisu was the perfect solution!! It's the perfect width to accommodate a hattan zabuton, and just the right height to support the lower back. It's sturdy! It folds up very compactly (which is great for a small apartment). Even by itself the pattern scheme is balanced, both in terms of color and occasion!...but pairs very nicely with any pattern of black zabuton (mine had a simple asanoha). Overall I'm very pleased with this product!!

Beautiful and sturdy
I wanted a zaisu chair to complement the cushions I have for sitting on tatami mats and have been pleased with other orders through Oriental Furniture. My order arrived very promptly, well packed, and the chair is sturdy. There was one minor problem and what I would consider a slight design flaw; I didn't check the bottom before sitting on it on my tatami. One screw was not fully screwed in and it gouged my mat. What I would consider a flaw is that the sleds, for lack of a better term, would be better if they were rounded on the bottom rather than flush; the corners have scraped up my tatami mat when I was not careful to get up before moving the zaisu.

absolutely love it
Use my huge TV as my computer monitor and now can sit on floor with laptop lap desk. Matches my black lacquer furniture. Only alternative was wicked huge gaming lounge with speakers. Great design, decor and shipping lightning fast and well packing. Highly recommend.

Excellent back support!
The order was delivered on-time and the package came well. The chair is constructed very well and is surprisingly compact and easy to carry when folded. It gives excellent back support while sitting cross legged during meditation / prayer. The wood finish is good and the cloth is well fabricated with a pleasing design.

Love this Chair
I love this chair. It is extremely well made, elegant and simple. Since the chair has no legs, the person sitting can have their legs bent, folded or stretched out without restriction and their back is well supported by a cushioned backrest. When not in use it can be folded up and put out of the way--perfect for small living spaces. All that and it arrived quite promptly too.
