Often purchased in pairs and used side by side as an interesting coffee table, or separately as distinctive end tables. Black lacquer table with hand carved legs, foo dog faces at apron corners, and ball and claw feet. Tabletop is hand painted with raised “chinois” figures and scenery in traditional “5 Ladies” design, then finished in a rich, clear lacquer. Apron is hand painted with “Plum Blossom” design. Special order in gold leaf, white or black lacquer. Available with mother of pearl "lancscape" or “Birds and Flowers” design. Lower shelf and under surfaces are finished in black lacquer.
