Eye-catching octagonal “button box” in striking 24 carat gold leaf, with 8 drawers, felt lined. Hand painted with delicate “Birds & Flowers” design on top and eight sides. Base hand painted with “Blossom & Scroll” design. Finished in a rich, clear lacquer. Special order in red, white or black lacquer. Available with mother- of- pearl inlay. Brass drawer pulls clear lacquered to resist tarnish.
