This vase is made of a thin metal and weighs very little. If you plan to display silk foliage or flowers, you will want to put weight ( some sand, etc. ) in the bottom to prevent the urn from falling over. The physical appearance is exactly how it looks online, however, upon closer inspection, you will see the quality is poor. If you like everything else about this vase, then it's well worth it to have if you can display it either up higher on something or a little bit away. In short, and, in all fairness, it is actually lovely.
