A wonderful sculpture of Indra and Indrani riding into battle against the asuras, demons.  Indra is the King of the Devas.  Devas are celestial beings or lesser gods.  The devas are forever fighting the asuras for dominance in the netherworld.  Indra sits under a palanquin that Indrani holds.  The elephant is trampling an asura as another demon is caught in his trunk.  A third demon has his sword raised to strike Indra.  Mahakala is carved above the palanquin.

Made of Albizzia lebbeck wood, commonly called Country Wood, which closely resembles Teak.

Sculpture weighs 39 pounds.
