Green granite is a beautiful as well as dense stone that has some special features. It is capable of a variety of finishes which can give it a variety of different color possibilities. It can be carved with a rough surface giving it a very faint light green color. Or it can be polished to give the piece a dark green finish. When the piece is wet the stone comes alive with a deep rich dark green which almost makes you pray for rain! Green granite is even denser/harder than black granite making it extremely difficult and time consuming to carve. The density of granite makes green granite sculpture perfect for any garden because it can be left outside in extreme heat and extreme cold for years without care.
