Sarouk is a small village in central Iran known for geometric patterns of the knotted carpets. These are called Sarough or Sarouk Carpets. The carpets are made using high quality wool in workshop as well as household looms. The traditional rug has herati and boteh patterns all over or in the medallion layout. The medallion can be of almost any geometric shape. Most famous of all is a medallion and corner layout.

This rug is hand-made in Iran of wool fiber with a cotton backing. It is a one of a kind rug that is meant to become an heirloom.

Hand wash only, no chemicals. Colors will fade over time if placed in direct sunlight.
